Thanks for all your information, any particular make of propellor, a few other people have suggested a LH three bladed brass propellor. Any particular make?

A Hobbyking 3639-750kv or 3639-1100kv using 3S Lipo battery 5800mah with a 60 Amp ESC with reverse and a 2 blade 40 to 45 mm prop(or 3blade 37mm prop).

A friend gave me an Aerokits Patrol Torpedo Boat, I'm thinking of upgrading it to brushless power. Has anyone any information on motors, speed controllers and propellor sizes. Any help gratefully received.
