HI Rob. Thanks for your interest The motor is a KEDA Thumrun 2387/18 and the reversable ESC is an EZ-Run 18A + the appropriate programing card. I am using 8.4 v (3300mah)and an X45 prop. Motor and ESC purchased from www.giantcod.co.uk ............ John

John. I have a nor star Wave Rider hull only,in good condition, but minus any cabin or rear deck. Can you post any pictures showing the cabin and deck off the hull I could use as a guide to complete my boat.Sorry this is a bit late, Dave...

Lesro Sportsman
Lesro Sportsman kit, wood sports fishing boat 33'' in length, weight about 8lb. MFA 850 on 12v (10 NiMHcells 3.5ah) MTroniks 40amp esc, X50 prop. Built by Ian Gardner.
March 2010. I am now using 12 cells and a Graupner speed controller. I added watercooling too and the boat goes noticeably faster- but melted a fuse holder on first outing so I need to upgrade some of the wiring. There was also a bit of prop aerating on turns so might reduce the prop size.
The last photo is with increased voltage.

Gannet Engine
As mentioned in one post. I mentioned that I had bought 3 spark Ignition engines some years ago which had not seen daylight for some time. Dug them out and took a photo or two if anyone is interested

    HI Peter,
Yes the 4 cylinder is the Seal. Surprised to find that the castings and build instructions are still currently available for these! The middle one is a Channel islands Special. Don't know much about these as I 've never heard of anyone actually using one. They were available (like the Gannet) as an aero engine. Hate to think about the size of plane this would need. Third photo , as you say, needs no introduction

FIRE BOAT
This was a Damage R/C Police Boat ( That is mass produce in the USA and can be found on eBay anyday ) That I converted into a fire boat .This is for display only. it is 21 " or 533.4 mm long 6" or 152.4 mm at it's widest point .Everything on it was put on my myself except the hand rails , air horn and anchor . The black on the deck is all real non-skid .This was a fun project to do for I never did work with anything like this or this large before . Most of my customizing and kitbashing is with diecast fire trucks .

Your'e boat looks good. regards to your Duseldorf, check out the boat build blogs as my own dusseldorf is featured there and may help you somewhat. if you do need any assistance, get back to me at any stage of the build as I may have pictures/data, info that may make it easier or add more detail to the basic item.
