I know I am replying to am old post but if anyone is interested I have just bought a set of white metal fittings for a 46" from Lesro Models in Christchurch, Hampshire. They have some new kits also, priced at ÂA£279 !!

difficult one to answer in one go Roger, depends how much detail, and how much you want to spend. There are now a couple of kits and suppliers about with these fittings. I know that Scale Hobbies in Skelmersdale Merseyside do white metal fittings. THey need a bit of work to clean them up, but are cheap to buy and look ok when completed.
I know there are some pics and a thread on this site regarding a supplier (cant remember who) doing boats, hulls and fittings. I was lucky, I found a shop with a box of original Mersey Marine fitings, wish I had bought the lot, that was 4 yrs ago, and the shop is now long gone. I would google for info, I am sure someone else will be along with more info. BEC Flags do the decals and flag for flagstaff, look at the links, there will be someone there for sure!
