Thankyou both, i will put together a build log as i go. Additions so far will be 2x Mtronik Viper 25 brushed ESC ( prefer 2 instead of trying both motors off one ) Mtronik sound card/speaker with large diesel sound file, and a Mtronik micro switcher so the sound card can be started stopped from a transmitter channel plus one other feature i.e. horn etc.

Hi All,

I couldn't resist a Billings Smit Nederland purchase, its an unbuilt boxed kit with 2 geared motors supplied and nice brass rudders fittings kit etc from a well known website. I am now looking for a good realistic sound module and advice on paints for the Hull. Not sure if it comes with build instructions but im sure there should be blogs etc on the web if things are not obvious.
