Has anybody got templates of bulkheads

Hello from Oz , yes I traced the formers for my 46 inch Fireboat/Crashboat kit ALL those years ago . if you are in need speak to Peter Ddimberline and Peter will give you my address and email details for bona fides and I can work out some way to assist you . Regards from the colony Lyle. Also see my earlier pictures on the site ( I am not too computer literate, but really find it ALL too easy in running I/C motors in my Crash Boat with the third motor to date as I wore the others out)

Has anybody got templates of bulkheads

HI Peter
I took some measurements of the bulk heads from a skeleton fireboat I have before I put the sides on just in case I did need to do repair work. They may not be 100% accurate but there not far off..if any use let me know and I will try to find them.

Has anybody got templates of bulkheads

HI Peter HS93,
I am currently preparing drawings of the Fireboat, working from original Vosper drawings (what little I have been able to find), photos and also have various drawings from various sources.
As soon as I have these done they will be posted here on this web-site. Sorry if they are taking a whole lot longer than first thought, but want them to be as accurate as possible, (and Christmas got in the way too).
Thought I had it about right, when some additional information came to light, and this involved a bit more manipulation of the Hull in a couple of areas. Also, I have only recently managed to obtain the software I really wanted to export the surface model from DelftSHIP, into. its a solid Modeling Program, very expensive and very professional. So guys a little more time please, and then we will all have modern plans as an alternative to the Aerokit one.
If anyone would like bulkhead templates to suit the Aerokit
Fireboat, I could possibly do these quickly (the drawings I am currently doing ARE NOT compatible with the aerokit plans), but not sure what the legal situation to do this is - so suggest you pm the Moderator, who can then advise me re this, ok.
cheers

Peter, firstly, I don't think Aerokits plans ever contained details of the bulkheads for any of their models. I understand they only provided side-on and overhead views with some constructtional sketches. Therefore if your ebay plan has bulkhead details, it's probably not Aerokits.

Secondly, whilst I don't have a Fireboat plan, checking my original Fireboat, the bow area is not particularly realistic, the only angle being the one between the hull sides and the hull bottom planks. it's pretty crude so a basic triangle could be about right. Not much help but good luck with your search.

has anybody got templates for crashtender bulk heads. I was going to bid for a plan on e-bay until I noticed that the first bulkhead was nothing like the shape I remember, It was just a triangle. the crashtender should have a nice sculptured hull, and the plans being sold on the net are anything but.
