So right as age is like a long slide it starts off slow and we wish to get to an age to drink or drive and later we want it to it slow down to enjoy the green side of the grass.

Sad news about your friend Rick, age can be a cruel thing, with things like memory loss, arthritis, eyesight problems and many other illnesses that stop us enjoying our hobby, getting old is not much fun, but it beats the other option!😐

So sorry to hear that Damian is having to give up modelling and presumably his interest in the Paddle Ducks. Illness, memory loss, very familiar subjects, unfortunately, when one is getting older. Hits us all in some shape or form.

Cheers, Nerys

I wanted to give a shout out to Damien G the Administrator of the Paddle Ducks I'm a member of.I saw a post from him letting us know he was selling every thing as he was having memory issues and could not continue modeling also his wife is in the hospital .This hit me hard as he was very helpful when I started building the Maid of the Loch.
