Fleet: I would just like to point out that this is intended to be a working boat, not a gin palace. Bionic Bill is going to need all his energy and concentration to focus on rowing. I can’t let him get distracted like that or He will never get the boat moving 😂🤣

I always took a paddle even when rowing - for close quarters work. The other really important items were a flask and a packet of sandwiches!

I think the most useful thing to have on board would be a pair of oars and rowlocks. You might get somewhere then. Other quite useful things would be some rope, an anchor and a bailer.
