That's the problem with fast boats and wind. Tight fittings are no match for a good blow and you need to really batten down the hatches just like the real thing. 😊
I have used Gregg's methods successfully but you may wish to try hooks and rubber bands. They need changing frequently but my local postman provides these in abundance almost daily!
If possible provide some form of pin at the front end of the roof with a fixing at the rear. My model steamer uses dowel across the transom with a tool clip fixed to the roof.
My pond yacht uses a magnet for the front hatch and rubber bands for the cabin.
My steamer uses clips for both the front turret and rear engine casing.
I've attached a few pictures to give you the general idea.

There are loads of methods of holding down cabins, but all dependent on what you can adapt to your own specific needs/reqements. On some of my boats I use a suitable length screw bolt, subtly hidden, it secures all down and is easily removed for access.
You could use pieces of velcro,
you could also possibly use some self adhesive magnetic flexI strip,
all dependent on access and the size of surface available to secure with.
