Yes that is correct. It is a Dean's model. The Amazon came with no plans or instructions. To order these from Dean's is a fair bit of cash. Thought someone in the website might have something in their library of plans and instructions.

I think you mean HMS Mohawk, which was slightly different from Amazon.
Most of the class differed in some way being built in 7 different yards to a very basic spec.
I can only assume that your mate has a Deans Marine kit.

In which case I suggest he contacts Deans for a copy of the plan and instruction book.

BTW: The original had 3 shafts, Deans kit is designed for only one.
