Electric Toothbrush

I tried taking all the bristles off and sticking some abrasive paper to it it works for tight spaces.

Hi again,
For the speed control on the 271 radar spin, I used the rotary control on a flysky 6Ch, by connecting the motor to the RX (and separate power from the 3v board I'd installed) I could take the spin down to about 20 rev per minute - seemed OK, if not quite prototypical. So maybe the speed control is easily fixed by using the rotary pots on most TX's and it really is quite controllable so the speed is easily set. Not sure about reversing yet - I'm sure other more experienced members can come up with a method. If not a micro Arduino could be programmed to perform a set forward and reverse 'dance step'. I used one for my rotating forward and aft gun positions - tracking left then right and so on. Bit restrictive for on the water, but at least you'd have a reverse!

Hi Ron,
Not quite that idea, but I did use one for rotating radar on Flower Class. I use my wife's cast off's! On another idea for unusual uses, I'm planning to use the motors from eyebrow trimmers - two of them for miniature motors to fit inside torpedoes on Schnellboot - not worked out directional control yet, but they are a good size (i.e tiny), single AAA battery and once again having daughters and a forgiving wife, I steal their old ones!

Anyone played around with the idea of using these small devices to power your small Micro-Boat? They use two AA batteries; leave it in it’s case with an on/off switch. Granted no reverse or speed control. Just asking...?
