I didn't want 'em anymore Ken.
But the damn things just keep on coming along🤔
Anyway, Nerys is counting backwards from now on, so one day we'll meet in the middle😉
Or in Aberystwyth or somewhere unpronounceable!😁

My weather eye will cast itself upon available information as it comes along, then, one of these days we'll see her summer programme and act accordingly. I doubt if anything will be announced until the boiler repairs are more advanced and a reliable date can be announced.

Don't think they have announced their official programme yet, but if I remember correctly she comes to the Bristol Channel for a few days on her way round to the South Coast and London Area and I think that's towards the end of August.

"Ken, That would be an excellent idea when she comes to the Bristol Channel."
Any idea 💡 yet when that might be Nerys?
Would be great to try and arrange a 'Meet n Greet'! 😊

Ken, That would be an excellent idea when she comes to the Bristol Channel. Alice and I did the Swansea to Ilfracombe and Lundy trip on her a couple of years ago.

cheers, Nerys

On Tuesday 14th January, Waverley was towed to Greenock for her 2.3 milion pound refit. She is now berthed in the James Watt Dock and the refit will take about four months. Her funnels were removed on January 22nd to allow access to the boilers below and a few days later the old boilers were removed. Great to be able to report that work has actually started on Waverley so that she will be able to carry out her usual programme of cruises around the coast this year.
