scale of model

jacko and Brianaro,

Thanks for the info re the scale of my Huntsman, many years ago a work mate told me how to do the maths to work out the scale of a model, at the time I was building a Boulton Paul Defiant at 1/6 scale, but my memory is like a sieve and age doesn't help, so all that info drifted away into the ether, the boat building is new to me, the Huntsman was given to me, and now I've ordered a Vosper MTB379 to build, looking forward to it.

Cheers gents.👍👍

Hello. I believe it is 1:11

Fairey Huntsman 31 23.5" = 1/16 scale.
34"= 1/11th scale

hope this helps if my maths are right 😀

if so then 1/12 fittings would not look out of place

scale of model

OK, so I have a Precedent Huntsman 31, the model is 34"(86cm) in length, I have almost finished the build, but I would like to add some fixtures and fittings, but I am at a loss as to the scale of this model, so I am at a standstill, any help would be most appreciated.
