Private messages bug should be fixed now Colin. Also... some faulty hyperlinks and pages redirecting to the wrong place. Think I've got to the bottom of that too.

Can anyone help me trying to put videos on - I downloaded on to YouTube and every time I copy and paste the link into the supplied area and try and download - I get a square box up - saying - it doesnt recognise the link. What am I doing wrong 😴 my opinion is the website is great to me - its just like everything else in life - takes a while to get used to. Once we are used to it - away we go.....

Although I upload a PDF and it say DONE it doesn't appear in the right hand Photos/Files it just shows a square box then is not in the posted item

Thanks for the screenshot, this is fixed now 👍 try refreshing the page. Sometimes these icons are cached so you may not see it change immediately, but you never know 😌

One thing that does irritate me are the emboldened words in posts and blog entries, I can't really see the point of them👎.

Annual or even quarterly would be better than monthly for a standing order for small amounts.

Really good update to the site. It seems much easier to navigate around. I think that the new arrangement of ranking is much better. I had noticed that some new members had climbed to the top in a few weeks. The new system looks a lot better with rewards going to input. Thanks for all of your hard work.
Just one thought though. If you contribute regularly, say yearly for instance, would it not be appropriate to add a bar to the silver medal for each additional contribution.

💥 Emoji's everywhere! 👍 If you're posting on a smart phone you can use any number of 2,823 emojis (and growing every year). On desktop we add some of the most common ones to pick from.
⭐ New apps! The apps are now much more integrated and many of the previous bugs should now be fixed.
🔔 Notifications... based on what you're interested in. Many areas of the website have follow buttons, you can follow individual members, blogs, forum threads, events, anything you want!
💾 Auto-save posts... you can pick up a post you didn't submit on your desktop on your phone later on, or vice-versa!
📸 Uploads... photos can be uploaded directly, or imported from other accounts such as dropbox, google, facebook, instagram or twitter.
📄 PDF files can be viewed immediately
🎥 YouTube videos are embedded everywhere, you can watch any videos posted and browse the website at the same time.
👤 New ranking system, we've gone from 9 different rank levels to 20! Consequently some of you will have changed rank, but we remain fair, like with the old website your rank is based on the helpfulness of your contributions.
🤞 New "how-to" articles sections. Like wikipedia, these are articles which anyone can edit and add to.
🔗 Useful links can now be edited and added to. This section will update itself based on links posted elsewhere, but can be added to manually as well.
🛍️ Online shop has seen a complete overhaul. Currently 10% off everything!
⛵ Membership is now split into three categories. Anyone who has previously donated will be shown as a contributor and will have their silver good conduct medal. Subscribe monthly and you'll get a gold medal!
There's lots more that's changed like faster performance ⚡, better email and push notification controls, map integrations 📍, ability to flag inappropriate content 🚩, login with facebook, email confirmations, captcha tools to reduce spam... on the whole I hope it all adds up to a much more fun experience and a friendlier, chattier community 😀
