I am considering buying a 46" crash tender from Mike Cummings at Vintagemodelworks. The kit is basically the old 1960's kit and comes with all the fittings, lifebelts, davits, etc but not prp shaft, rudder, etc.
Cost is ÂA£220 + p & p

Welcome to the site. Really nice looking model finished to a very high standard. Do you have you any on water pictures? Details of the propulsion, radio, batteries etc would be very welcome. Perhaps you will post details of your next project on the Boat Building Blog on this site. This is a mine of info for other modellers both old and new. HI guys, I am new to this site and just thought I would say hello,My name Is Krys and I live In Leeds and I am a member of Rawdon Model Boat Club. I have a couple of boats that are In the early stages of renovation, I have an Interest In buying old boats and prefer them on the larger scale, below Is a picture of my 46" Vosper PL4 Patrol boat which I have owned for a couple of years now, It was In a bad state when I first bought It but now thanks to many months of hard work It Is back on the water again and I am very pleased with the end result. I am currntly looking for a Vosper RTTL / Veron to restore or build so If anyone knows where there Is one please let me know.
