Hi Sarik have plans for a few hovercraft all requiring skirts and light builds.

No Doug I don't use a dumbphone I'm not clever enough.😊 I've seen Hovercraft plans in some of the on line plans services such as Outerzone Pocket Aeronautics etc . Have a good Google Good luck👍 Oh ! by the way I think a skirt is essential. Some rubberised/plasticised THIN fabric is the best stuff to use or if not👍 oiled silk if you can get it.🤔

Just left click on the Adobe icon so the Media Gallery opens with the larger icon.
Left click on [Download], top left corner of the media gallery window.
Windows will then ask you if you want to Save or Open the file.
left click 'Open', your pdf reader will open it. You can then save it to wherever you want.
If you are using a 'Dumbphone' - I don't know🤔 I don't!

Skirt is essential to reduce lifting power needed to something practicable.
This plan includes building instructions, also for the skirt!👍
It's pretty plain but I guess you can use some fantasy / imagination on the superstructure😁

Many thanks Boaty Dave. I will certainly follow your leads. Having had to give up all flying I'm trying to maximise use of all their 'innards'. So far two Skimmers and a part made Lippisch boundary layer "plane" so next in the odds box is the hovercraft.

Re hovercraft, it may be worth looking at information around models by the late Ray Malmstrom. He was an ace when it came to designing unorthodox models and another source would be the Plans Handboook. I remember this in the mid 1960s and there was plenty to choose from as they had a special section on such. This included anything from hydroplanes, prop driven racing cars and hydrofoils etc.

Another source could be the Eagle Annual from around the same period. Though the Eagle was a comic, the Annual did have articles around the latest technology of the day. Even if you could not obtain the Annual itself I am sure there would be archives on the internet.
