Billings Calypso

A great boat to model, I remember it's regular appearance on the tv and the great mans commentary on it. "I and my son phillipe are diving to a reef........" A great memory of the possibility of adventure.

did some repair work on the real Calypso in the early seventies ,even met the great man Jacques Cousteau who gave us a tour of the ship even went down into the bow viewing pod ,the last I read was that she's being restored in Turkey.

Hi Dampfgerd

I am sorry to say but you need to post your photo's in jpeg.

All the best

Fred
That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

Hi
I have a Calypso that I got off one of our members, and it has two 545 motors so far I have not taken her out onto the water.
Hope that this is of some help.
