I have started this side of the festive season, see my other post, in building section, replacing prop-shaft

Thanks Mark, after Dave and other comments I guess that is correct, I think I will be getting a new propshaft and smaller prop, but after the festive season.

Hi Richard, if its the boat with the 850 motor, your prop is massive, try a 40mm 3 blade or 2 blade, a rough guide is no bigger than the motor diameter.

I do not use YouTube, I am getting too old for all this tech stuff, so I will not bother to put the video's on, its not important, I think I have it sorted, may reduce the size of the prop, as when I turn port or starboard the extra drag really slows the boat down, so even though I have a large motor I think the 58 mm 3 blade is making the motor work too hard as it does get warm after 5 minutes running, so maybe with a smaller prop the motor may run faster as well, I suppose it will be like changing down on a hill the revs go up the engine has an easier time.

The easiest way is to upload your video to YouTube then you can attach the link to the video on your post

As per my previous post, I have tried to upload some videos but no matter how or when I try I still get the message Download failed, any help with this would be great
