the wood can be used with grain vertical for curves or it can be joined if you have longer model plans I have a 45inch plank on frame model and the planks are all 10mm balsa and all are joined somewhere along their length or can be used for bulkheads also have a look at Glynn Guest plans most are aimed at beginners hope this helps Yours Scout

Plans for Balsa wood
I am looking for a set of plans with Templates.
Something approx 30 to 35 inches in length.
The template part is important as a am not that skilled in modeling..
Not naval ships.
I would like to swop some balsa wood I have for a set of plans.
Assorted thickness new unused in lengths approx 18 inches long.
The reason I would like to swop is that I feel I would just be wasting this timber where as it could be used by some member that has better skills and a need for Balsa wood.
Boxed up and ready to post so I can,t say how many pieces there are Just whats in the images.
