Thank you. That's well worth considering.
I'm off to the model boat show today so I may well be able to pick up the bits I need.

I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure?

Could you sleeve the prop tube then re-drill on the top, using oil tube as guide and drill using a small end mill.

Hi Colin.
One thing I forgot to mention, is that for some reason the holes in the prop tubes are not on the top, but half way round, which gives no clearance for soldering all around the brass tube.
Clamping seems the only option (unless I removed the tubes and start over again - a big job), where I can at least use flexible neoprene pipe for lubrication.
In any event, thanks for the suggestion.

Hi there, had similar problem a few years ago. I used 3/8" diameter brass tube approx 1" long filed on one end to fit over hole in shaft tube, then soldered in upright position. This was covered with a small push fit dust cover. Hope this helps.

My part built Perkasa already has the tubes and shafts fitted. Holes have already been drilled in the tubes near the top but no oiler or grease nipple has been fitted so grease keeps oozing out.
Being an old kit the shaft diameter is 3/8" or 9.5mm.
Whilst I have been able to find the items I want, I can't find a larger diameter than 8mm.
Unless anyone knows of a larger diameter I will have to try and drill out the 8mm.
Any suggestions please?
