It sounds great I've heard of the wing tail mixers being used for the rudders and motors.
I can't wait to see your boat in action! sounds great. I'm going to put a mixer on my tug
to take advantage of the close quarter turn radius also!

I did some sea trials with hull only and she looks really good on the plane.
I have also put a wing tail mix on my Tx so she will turn in her own length.
I will post a video once she's on the water.

Hey Steve
Have you done any sea trials yet, I'm very interested in finding out how she does!
She looks as if she'll go at a nice clip! can't wait to find out.

Hi Steve
Your pilot boat looks ship shape and in Bristol fashion, job well done very good! I'm trying to talk the wife in to letting me get one for my winter project, I hope I do as good a job as you've done on yours.

Thanks Ed. Still many fiddly things to do but I'm very pleased so far.
As you can see, I have mixed green paint with silver sand to get the non slip deck then painted it over with satin varnish. Fitting the windscreen wipers tried my patience as they are in two parts and are tiny.

Metalsmith had none in stock and as his supplier would only accept a minimum order of 2tonnes he was not expecting any.
However, he put me in touch with https://eileensemporium.com.
I received the item the following day. He charged £1 for 250mm.
For future reference.

Thanks Haverlock. I have to submit a form to order the item and they will let me know the stock.
The picture shows the completed handrails on the starboard steps. The missing item is on the port side.

I am trying to source nickel silver rod 1.5mm diameter to complete a handrail.
Whilst I can find such material up to 1mm anything above that size is a problem.
Any suggestions please?
