HI Chris, usually the tubes are ok for oil etc, rather than remove the shafts, try a drop of oil (not WD40 type) on the shaft at the gearbox end and behind the props

I have recently acquired one of these via E.Bay and am wondering about the stern tubes. Do these need lubrication? If so how do I do it, and with what sort of lubricant?
