Peter The CAD files I'm using are based on the Puffer Vic56.
Oh and by the way VIC and myself share the same birthday year both a very young 83 Col

@SimpleSailor in the days before CPP propellors most (single propellor) seagoing ships had right hand propellors whilst inland barges had left hand propellors. Even in todays high HP applications (VLCC's, big bulk carriers and Ultra large container ships) still use right handed fixed pitch propellors.
Now I am not sure what a Puffer would have used but from what I could find it is a right handed one.
Handy trick to see if it right or left handed, imagine you stand behind the propellor and grab the 2 sides of one blade with your hands. If your right hand is forward of the left then you have a right handed propellor (old trick taught in the Nautical College)

For what it's worth, the real "Vital Spark" carries a right hand prop.

@ColRay . My own opinion would be right hand but it looks like it is just a personal preference. I came across the two models in the picture.
