Garth, that’s a remarkable conversion.
Excellent craftsmanship! I recently received similar news from Model Expo—they’re apparently developing a special fireboat kit based on the Seguin hull.
It’ll be interesting to see their version, but you’ve already shown what can be accomplished with a little imagination and skill.

Just wanted to add a little trivia: I used my Sequin Plans to build the Buffalo Edward Cotter fireboat model, as the hull is very similar, and I used actual photos from the Internet of the Cotter for the details of the Cotter use Lapage glue tops for the fire monitors. They had rids similar to the Cotter's Fire Moniters.

@jumpugly thank you I have the plan set. but it leaves a lot of detail out from the real boat, it's been simplified. no cabin interior, the masts and rigging are not accurate, Just my anal self, I guess. LOL

@jumpugly I notice this model has the vent intakes like on the real ones, Is this your boat? Can you you share the dimensions of them and where they are stationed on the deck.

Garth! Without a doubt a classic kit from stem-to-stern and a high-water mark for Midwest, not to mention very pricey! Here are some shots of my friend Dave's Sequin that's in his collection.
The builder is big into weathering his builds as you can see.
Also, here is a very interesting take on the build...attached.
