A trip out

Hi philuk,
Certainly was an interesting afternoon, reasonably priced cafe as well. Somebody evidently travelled over 100 miles. Lots of interesting stuff but keep your eyes open as it's not in order apart from the big machinery. You could easily spend around 3 to 4 hours in there. 😊

A trip out

But .... I thought the Beatles said they all lived in a Yellow Submarine ...... 😮 🤣
So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.

A trip out

Having daughter and her partner staying with us for the week, took them out this afternoon to a place called " Oakham Treasures" just off jct 19 on the M5. Lots of memorabilia and quite a few bits and pieces of nautical history hence the post. Hope this brings back a bit of nostalgia to some of us 😊. Wasn't all maritime 😀
