Yes another original classic.
On the back burner at present whilst I do more research on the original to decide which actual ship to model. it was too good a chance to miss as samples do not appear that often.

It's a 1960's Veron kit depicting a Vosper Fast Patrol launch. I suspect it is not based on an particular vessel and was designed to provide a fast hull for the IC engines of that era. The whole top lifts off giving the access required to start an IC engine.
Fast patrol boats were used by countries with large coastal areas to patrol and defend against smuggling etc.
I like restoring kits from this era and this will add to my Sea Queen, Solent Lifeboat and Small and large (still to be completed) Crash Tenders.
I am still looking for an original plan for this model, please. 😀

Agree. Bit more work round the house after decorating/floorlaying etc so may be a while.
Not really that big or heavy, by my standards anyway. Lot smaller than the Olympic but probably on a par with the Sea Queen.
However if I decide to add a lot of detail and working bits it could need a small trolley 😀
