Sorry Pat I have to correct you on the description of the Alexander von Humboldt. Your original picture shows the first AvH which was decommissioned around 2014 and with its masts removed converted into a Hotel and Restaurant vessel. Your description however describes its replacement the AvH II which was built as you stated in 2011 but has a different hull design without the extended aft to midships superstructure.

Evening Shippers

Please let me apologise for the late reply but I have been up to my neck in it thie week - so here are the answers you are waiting for

Ship 1 is Dar Mlodziezy a Polish sail training ship designed by Zygmunt Choreń. A prototype of a class of six, the following five slightly differing units were built subsequently by the same shipyard for the merchant fleet of the former Soviet Union. Her sister ships are Mir, Druzhba, Pallada, Khersones, and Nadezhda. The ship was launched in November 1981 at the Gdańsk Shipyard, Poland.

Ship 2 is Alexandra Von Humbolt II a modern German sailing ship that serves as a training vessel, continuing the legacy of exploration and education associated with its namesake, the famous explorer Alexander von Humboldt.Launched in 2011, Alexander von Humboldt II is a three-masted barque designed to provide sail training experiences. It was built as a replacement for the original Alexander von Humboldt, which was launched in 1906.

Ship 3 Is Royal Clipper - a steel-hulled five-masted fully rigged tall ship used as a cruise ship. She was redesigned by Robert McFarlane of McFarlane ShipDesign, for Star Clippers Ltd. of Sweden, the same designer behind the cruise company's first two vessels Star Clipper and Star Flye

Ship 4 is The Malcolm Miller is a sistership of the three-mast schooner Sir Winston Churchill designed by Camper & Nicholsons. She was built by John Lewis & Sons in Aberdeen(1967) and first served as a Sail training ship before being converted into a yacht.
The Miller can be identified from the Churchill the fact that she has square topped door in the deckhouse where the Churchill has rounded top doors.

Hope this puts you mind at rest and you enjoyed your research into this 😆 - Do you prefer this type of question than the RN stuff. after all how can you make models of a subject if you dont know all about it.

Do I continue posting Pat QoD or is there no interest ?

The first is the Christian Radik, a Norwegian training ship, launched in 1937.

The second is the Alexander Von Humbolt, a German training brig, launched in 1906 and converted in 1988.

The third is the Royal Clipper, a five-masted cruise ship, launched in 2000, a Polish design, operated by a Swedish national carrier.

The fourth is the Sir Winston Churchill, a private schooner launched in 1966.
