Some new yacht bits n bobs

Hi Duncan
My yacht sailed her maiden voyage at Bury in October when I first bought her. I met Mike who kindly helped me with a couple of teething issues, and provided me with some useful info on the club. Another member kindly helped me carry her to the water (she is heavy for one person!).
I’m from Urmston, so Bury is not too far to travel. I was thinking of joining the club this spring.
Hope to meet you soon
Kind regards
Peter

Looks great! If you are interested I'm a member of Bury Metro Marine Modelling Society. It is a friendly and active club at Bury Lido which is situated at Clarence Park off the A56 Walmersley Road. BL9 6NG. They meet mainly on Sunday mornings but some members also meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays. There is a club house and a large car park. Ask for Mike Bondi who is the Chairman. Hope this helps to get you on the water 😊

Some new yacht bits n bobs

Hi all,
My new yacht has been in dry dock for a few add ons - thought you might like to see them on a photo taken today.. fenders, bow protector, strengthened stand, flag (sorry, not on photo!). I want to add a smart black lettered name on the bow and stern next, any ideas!?
I look forward to spring and summer and joining a local model boat club in the UK northwest, nr Manchester.
Love the yacht to bits, and she sails beautifully.
Kind regards
Peter
