Recommendation for plastic Beginners kits

Hi Pauk
If only it was a wood boat that you was looking for, as Hughes Aircraft have some good wooden kits at a good price.

That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

Recommendation for plastic Beginners kits

Thanks jumpugly,

Great suggestion. I’m not looking for latest LiPo brushless high performance boat kit.

It’s more scale kits that we are looking for.

Grandchild being new to craft it has to have hand holding instructions ( some video bits on YouTube ?)

See school ages etc in my previous post.

Have since found possible kits for boats, cars, aircraft etc see attached

Recommendation for plastic Beginners kits

Hi Paul! Are you looking abs or wood? "Almost ready to run" kits with transmitter/receiver included etc? What kind of budget are you considering?
Let us know any details that you are considering. There are a mountain of them on AliExpress, but not all are complete.
Walmart markets this DIY kit which is pretty complete...

Recommendation for plastic Beginners kits

Can anyone please recommend starter/beginner aged 12/13 (and me aged 80) for school/scout badge plastic model boat kit Task 1 together with remote control Task 2.

Boat to be at least 45 cm, and can go straight for at least 25 m.

Perhaps you know a scout group or school having done this already.

Many thanks.

Tall Paul … only worked in wood see my harbour.
