nice acquisition. I guess the usual old brushless/Lipo route for a decently performing raceboat. I'm not a fan of demented ducks on acid, but this boat deserves a decent speed.
However, please...it's not a FerrarI hydroplane, FerrarI never made boats. it's a TimossI hydroplane with a FerrarI engine. many italian "Class" boats had Ferrari, Alfa, even MaseratI engines to win in their domestic classes.
This is the Timossi-Ferrari, Arno XI.

HI all, newbie here..and glad I found this great site! In need of help/advice/input In choosing motor/running gear etc. for hydroplane converted for rc from manufacturer. Right now she Is empty and need to start from square one(give her heart and soul she deserves) will Include some measurements and photos. Look forward to hearing from you! Thanks
