Good morning IanL.1, thanks for your message - just trying to catch up. In short, the answer to your question is no. This was a kit from TRUMPETÈER which my stepson bought and then couldn't take on so my wife bought it from him for me. I wish I was that talented in the scratch build department, however - God willing, health and eyesight withstanding I might get there as plenty of encouragement from everyone on this site. All the best with regards to 3d printing, again something I'm interested in but no room in the inn so to speak 😊

Hi, Beautifully crafted. Did you make all the deck fittings like the guns etc.
I am about to invest in a 3D printer so I can make my own for the model Venice water taxi as I can't find any supplier to help with them.
Cheers

Well as mentioned earlier on in the week, after I'd posed the question regarding commerations at work; HMS NELSON went to work and the response was excellent. Had a couple of responses via the HR team, one had a relative who was on the landing craft and another who was 17 at the time and was serving on Nelson's sister ship Rodney.
Very happy with the positive feedback and glad that I posed the question.
