Thank you for your support, in answer to Doug I used my Fred login to try changing my password, when I tried to change my password the system kept saying wrong password, now this is where it all went wrong, I asked for a reset email, email received, new password entered, then I logged in, with new password, that was when FredE came into play, and it was after I had posted "Ranking" that I found out that I had a new account, this went on for six attempts, it was not until today that I have now have been able to reset my password and use my original account, one other forum that has changed it operating system has had no end of problems with logins, and now six months down the line they are still having problems.

Thank god we are not the Post Office.

The same as I wrote below about Fred seems to apply to you as well🤔
A search for Bruce gave the result in attached pic.
There are two Bruces registered in the US, both in Hillsboro, Oregon and both building a USCG 47'. And both have built the Dusseldorf Fireboat etc etc!
'bruce1946', registered 21st April 2020, Midshipman,930 points.
'bruced', registered 3rd November 2022, Able Seaman, 36 points.
So it seems that you also inadvertently created a second account.
Both are still active. How this can happen is frankly beyond me but only the member himself can do it!
If this is indeed the case, as the topics of posts from 'both bruces' seems to strongly indicate, then I can only suggest that you ask Stephen (Fireboat) to find the time to transfer your posts from bruced to bruce1946 and delete the bruced account.

As I suspected Fred caused the problem himself.
A simple search for 'Fred' on the site produced the result shown in Pic 1.
Fred is still with us, Rank Lieutenant, Points 1830.

In this thread Fred announced himself as FredE1 for some reason known only to himself!
A search for 'FredE1' in the members returned the result shown in Pic 2; 'account no longer available'.
Stephen, our site owner and Administrator has many more interesting things to do than waste time wilfully duplicating members accounts or changing user names.
So somehow Fred must have inadvertently done this himself; e.g. possibly by registering again instead of simply logging on🤔

Your original account with user name 'Fred' is still active so just Log On to that and all should be well.
