Hi Herman’s mine is 930mm long and 1/32 scale, I run it with 2 x esc one for the outer motors and the other for the centre, I think the motors are rated @ 4/15 v I use a 3S 2800, 100c, lipo, the props are 30mm contra rotating outer ones. The speed is good and controllable on the centre only with a nice planing, the outer two are nice and fast, all three are manic to much for our small pond. I did briefly fit my new 2s lipo in and this was adequate and I feel more sensible.
.
this is the result at full chat and trying to film at the same time luckily the paint was not even scratched, thanks to changing to a bought glass fibre hull rather early in the build process, than the ply/ balsa hull I made originally.

Thanks @EdW, I did contact the Royal Museums Greenwich some time ago. They do have five sheets of the plans but have not digitised them and they quoted me over £300 to do that 😳. I might visit and take a look, and see if I can grab a sneak photo, but they may not allow that.

Thanks @Rogal118. I’ve got the plan sheet from Cornwall Model Boats but was looking for something more detailed and comprehensive.

@hermank I have the Precedent 1/24 scale Perkasa, and it’s plans but the Braves were different. Was hoping to find where to source something with equivalent detail to those Wonderful plans @zooma posted below, but for Brave Borderer. 😊

Hi there. Try Cornwall models or sarik I’m sure I’ve seen them on there web site.my plans I bought a long time back 1974 I think from MAP plans. I have lots of photos and a pathe news reel, if you need any info let me know. Have a look at my build blog to see what you are letting yourself in to. Here’s a couple of photos of mine at the pond.

Help!. I cannot get rid of this reply page it is over the top of all others,I have already posted my photos regarding the Brave Borderer. The little part of the forum page I can see, when I click it, it closes the site completely, any ideas. Sorted now. it’s disappeared, now I’ve made another post

I am away this weekend, so I won't post anything else until I get home next week as it would have to be sent from my iPhone so it would come up as being from bobs2.

I need to find out how to correct this so any postings form my iPhone can be linked to "zooma"

Since I bought these drawings I have taken on a lot of other Classic Power Boat projects and restorations so I have realised that I will never have the time to build a model of Brave Borderer - so if anyone would find these drawings helpful, please contact me as it is a shame to keep them knowing that they could possibly be the most detailed reference source available for this boat.
These drawings are printed on good quality paper and have been kept rolled and are in perfect condition "as new".

These highly detailed plans were bought when I wanted to make a large 1/24 scale scratch-built model of the K D Perkasa Class "Brave Borderer"
I could not believe the amount of detail that is shown and appreciate why they were a little on the "expensive side" to buy.
The two Royal Navy members of this class had some detailed variations made to them, but nothing that would be too hard to replicate using these exhaustively detailed drawings as the base reference.

I sent my first reply to this thread from my iPhone and for some reason my name gets changed to bobs2 (!) - but it is still me!

There are another 5 detailed 1/24 scale drawings that show:_

Twin 20mm GA machine gun.
Single 40mm BOFORS Guns, Mark V11.
A second even more highly detailed drawing of the above gun parts.
Drawing No GF-1. General Finings.
Drawing No C - 1. Cockpit Detail.

The drawings were made by D.P.Kershaw in November 1990 and would appear to be detailed manufacturers drawings.

I bought a set of Vosper KD Perkasa Class 1/24 scale drawings some years ago.
Huge amount of detail.
The plan and side elevations are printed on two separate sheets of drawing paper each 33” deep and 73” long.
