sounds like the straight running comps here a la frog, boats 4 feet long with electric motors and setable rudders!

We have just had our first annual plank race since Covid
Not reall a race more about accuracy.
Plank no bigger than 3 feet x 6 inches
Powered by any means except IC or rocket. Launched from one bank and aimed at a pole on the other. 3 attempts points given as to how close you get lowest score wins. The fun bit is no RC allowed. All you can do is shout at it.
