Smaragd Restoration

I have just acquired one of these at a reasonable price. It sails well but I was thinking of refurbishing so it will be really good to see your finished boat. Keep up the good work. It looks like you are going to run a genoa (genova) on it. Is that correct?

Well done Allen, I,ve rebuilt 2 smaragd,s they are lovely boats to sail. l kept very close to the original materials. but did beef up the sail track' I did try putting a strong spring on the end pulley to take a little of the tension off the sail servo, didnt work very well in a strong breeze so was removed. good luck, stay safe you lot Jim.
