Question of the Day?
I only wish Doug! It'll be late retirement if anything. The age keeps going up! Still 30 years left I reckon. I do wonder what this website will be like in 30 years time. Sadly people don't build things themselves as much now, so I do worry it'll become a wasteland. Hopefully not 🤞 I keep fingers crossed younger generations will realise the fun in making instead of buying.
Question of the Day is now live for all!
We've an extensive list of questions taking us into next year... I'll publish past days questions on this thread once we've accumulated some.
Hope everyone enjoys!
Stephen

I like corn, it makes my Jack Daniels….😎
Question of the Day?
My German friends and colleagues have a saying, which translates to-
Even a blind chicken finds a peck of corn!
Go for it🤞
Cheers, Doug😎

Mine would be lower that a gopher’s basement.
Question of the Day?
Re "I've now figured out a way to get multiple-choice quiz questions very easily), how many of you would enjoy a non-competition based fun question of the day, each day?"
Given the recent upgrades / mods to the site, and now this effort, I'm beginning to wonder if you've taken early retirement, won the lottery or inherited a million or two!
Whatever; more power to your keyboard / tablet / AI interface ...👍
Count me in, also as a 'feedbacker', you do of course realise that (electronically speaking😉) there is both positive and negative feed back😉
When do the 'previews' for feedbackers start?
Cheers, Doug 😎

"photo quiz on M B Mayhem"
Wasn't that Dave Wooley's 'Mystery ship' challenge which used to appear at the end of his 'World of Warships' articles in Model Boats magazine?
I miss that, some I recognised instantly, had email correspondence with Dave about one or two, some I had to research for hours to satisfy my curiosity.
Maybe Mayhem did something similar, no idea I try to cause as little mayhem as possible😁
Cheers, Doug 😎

Happy to take feedback before making live for all.
Researchers; give me some time to figure out the best way to manage researcher feedback. I've a couple of volunteers now. Thank you so much for this! Once I can direct you to somewhere to check/edit the upcoming questions I'll let you know 🤓 🎓 ⛵

Question of the Day?
Given that it's always popular in December (and I've now figured out a way to get multiple-choice quiz questions very easily), how many of you would enjoy a non-competition based fun question of the day, each day?
In a similar way to December's one, it'll be on the home screen each day, with four possible answers to choose from. Maybe a rolling leader board and linked forum thread to discuss questions (but not reveal answers until the following day).
I know we're talking about at least 365 nautical/shipping/maritime/sailing/boating quiz questions here! But I now believe its possible to put together with little effort 😉 perhaps useful to onboard a volunteer researcher mind, to double check questions and answers before they're made live. So if anyone would like to do that, let me know too.
Thoughts on having a Question of the Day?
