Just a tease! Do you know where and when (hint: U.K.)

And the answer is... Walpole Park in East Ealing, April, 1975. Saw a listing about the event in Model Boats magazine.

We were on our honeymoon and back in London after touring Germany and Belgium. That's when I bought my Graupner Wiesel from a hobby shop in north London and had it shipped back to the U.S. Kind of got screwed as they sent some cheap Ripmax motors instead of the Graupner ones I ordered, but at least I got my Wiesel.

Long ago, almost 50 years, half a century, long antennas with limited channels, bellbottoms, and "Beetles" hair styles. Hope a few of you enjoyed this, now back to the future!

I myself am also 75 years old ... but too old because of these few photos? But that's the past and if you stumble on your path in life, you're looking too much at her! There are moments when you have to be glad not to have to work with such a technique any more. Although I also liked that time very much, didn't I???

You make me feel veryyyyyyyy old now!!! You should be ashame 😂😂😂
I starten 60 years ago with a variophon 2 Channel with a kinematic for controlling thé boat and on top of that i still got it in thé original boxes. Next to thé 2 Channel i switched over to thé 10channel grundig variophon then thé proportional 10channel and now for over 20 years thé Futaba F14 and F16 and still going strong no 2.4 at the moment
