Crash tender crane deck

Neil on mine that deck is missing but its supports for the deck is one half inches down from the outer decks I assume thats correct cause the crane fits on that deck I watch with interest as to what answer you get

I agree with Colin. I have a part finished original 48" hull and a box of bits and can confirm the piece of deck was a flat piece of 1/8" ply, as is the piece on my 34" model.

Good evening Neil, I have 2 such boats and both of them have flat central decks.
Both are removable, sorry but can't get to actual boats to take fresh pictures.

My old model came with the cabin tops but no deck between the two cabins. I suspect it had a petrol engine many years ago so a a large semi circle cut out was present in the front bulkhead on the main cabin top.

I’m sorting this out and am making a card template for the missing deck.

So, my question is - should this deck be curved or flat?
