Thanks for that pmdevlin, it was the real boat I was wandering about and was the model the same.
I will be making a bathtub as you call it 😁 probably out of plasticard.

Alan, are you referring to the real boat or the model? if the model, I did mine like a few others and made a sort of bathtub that fits in the rear well. The reason being these boats sit low at the rear. When reversing or in rougher water there is a tendency for water to get in. Whatever you do make it water tight 😉

HI Alan,
Just had a look at mine and the floor does go right back to the stern bulkhead, there is a gap between the top side of the floor and the bottom of the timber forming the back of the aft cockpit which allows you to get your fingers in and touch the stern bulkhead. Tried to post a picture but for some reason won't let me upload.

In the aft cockpit of the fire boat does the floor go right back to the stern bulkhead?
Or to put It another way, can you touch the stern bulkhead with your fingers when the boat Is complete.
