Cheap Epoxy

Hi I was in our poundland a week or so back and they actually had something I wanted! It was metal etching primer, spray 500ml. and £2.50 Not tried it yet but far cheaper than any other primer I have found and less likely to dry in it's container.

Alice had a look in Poundland yesterday and they had superglue at four small tubes for the pound. Better than the one for the pound she saw recently but notback to the twenty of a while ago.

Yes, Epoxy has become quite expensive.
I find I have to order everything online as very little is available locally.
What is available is much cheaper online.

Good (Monday) Morning, I take it that your Poundland in UK is very akin to our DOLLARAMA here in Canada. When this chain store first surfaced everything in the store was just $1. Well, over the past 7yr prices have gradually increased. Some of the blank books, diaries, journals are now $4.50 & yes we have CA & epoxy. 4 tiny tubes of CA for $1.25, one of the few bargains in the store. You can about stock your entire kitchen in the BETTY CROCKER aisle! And their clear plastic bins with snap-on lids are abt 1/3rd the price of Wal-Mart. ⛵Merry Christmas, Everyone, may not be politically correct to say so, but its my sentiment !!

Nerys first, just checking. is your store actually Poundland? I was wondering if it might be generic like Biro is for ball point pens.

We have 3 stores here all doing the £1 items. Our Poundland has a stronger epoxy at £1 and have started selling items up to £3 as well. I will check for superglue. I bought a spray metal etching preparation at £2.50, yet to use but now the snow has gone will be out there soon.

Hi Nerys,

I’ve found the same problem in my local pound store. It’s now cheaper to buy cyano on-line. 20 tubes for £3.99 post paid. Trouble is, you do have to wait for Royal Mail to deliver it when they aren’t on strike!

Went to Poundland to re-stock on their £1 two part epoxys and multi packs of cyano-acrylate super glue only to find they no longer stock the epoxy and the super glue is now one 3 gram tube for £1 used to be multi pack of about 10 or 12 2gram tubes under a house brand, another version inflation ?? as epoxy cost has now gone up by 600% !!

Cheers Nerys
