Speed Controller esc

OK. Thanks very much. I'll give them a try.
Last time I sailed the boat I accidentally switched off the tx. The boat shot off at high speed out of control until I realised the tx was off.

Speed Controller esc

Any of the Mtronics Viper Marine ESC's have failsafe and will stop if radio signal is lost. They are available in 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A and 40A. You need to mount them so that air can circulate round the side away from the wiring. They will stop if they get too hot.
The Mtronics site http://www.mtroniks.net/index.asp have some Ex demo or test at slightly cheaper prices and post free otherwise any of the model boat shops will usually stock

Speed Controller esc

HI Mariners
I have renovated a 46 Inch RAF fire boat and have a question re motor and esc
I have fitted a Graupner 600 motor with a probe 12 speed controller esc [which I bought a couple of years ago] when the boat Is running and loses the radio signal for any reason the motor goes Into full speed mode. I have two of these controllers and they both do the same thing!
Anyone know of an esc that doesn't do this ?
