Model Boats & Thanksgiving

Hello Lew,
As a Swiss Confederate I have wondered several times where your harvest festival called Thankgiving comes from.
Thanks to Google and Wikipedia. . .for all who did not know . . Here the origin:
It is believed that the first Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1541 by Spanish colonists together with members of the Caddo tribe in May of that year. The latter used the feast to give thanks for the food they found, since newcomers often did not know what to eat when they arrived.

As for the ship models, I'm right there with you! And what I have already received for great tips . .excellent! Thanks again to all who helped me with your tips really.
Thank you, really super page and super people!
Hobbyist greetings from central Switzerland

Model Boats & Thanksgiving

Tomorrow, here in the U.S. we celebrate Thanksgiving. I want to expand my thanks word-wide to my friends who participate on Model-Boats.com for allowing me to share some of my thoughts, ideas, and photos in this wonderful hobby. More important is the opportunity for me to view the same from people around the world. Also thanks for opening my eyes to new ideas. The wonderful models on this site made by you, the model boat craftsmen, are a joy to look at and I am often awed.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
