Firefox, it's good that you want to complete the boat, making the folding mast is well worth doing and gives realism as well as making safe for transportation.
I will try to find my plan of the mast components.

It's 46" Colin and the sections lift off as per the images.

What's the length, and do the roofs lift off, or does the whole top lift off.
Norstar did one at 34" with the cabins lifting off for access.
Aerokits did two sizes 34" and 46 " but their design just had removable foods and deck sections that lifted.
Here is my 34" Aerokits version from the 1950's/60's.

Hi,

I have the 34" version of this model which is now over 50 years old. I refurbished her during the lockdown with accessories from SLEC.

They are a very helpful company.
From your photo I'm not sure if yours is the 46" version of this model in which case I'm not sure where you can get accessories from but I'm sure someone on this site will be able to help!
On this site mturpin013 has created a blog of his build of the larger model - it is superb especially with the feature he has incorporated for displaying the model :-

Scroll down to the section entitled 'The End' to see all the detailed photos - especially with the hatches raised.
Hope this helps. I've attached a photo of my 34" model on the water recently. Good luck. 😊
I'm sure he won't mind me pointing you in the direction of this blog.

Sorry this was a duplication of my earlier post - computer error!

I purchase this at an auction to donate to the Museum of RAF Fire Fighting (at the moment homeless) were I volunteer. I am an ex RAF Firefighter and well aware of the history of Fire Floats, Fire Boats and inshore rescue.
I suspect that this is from a kit with plans, but incomplete as it has no water monitors and other features. I am no model maker but there are people at the museum that could complete this.
Any advice/information would be appreciated. Cheers, "Firefox"
