Hi Derek. I thought i would let you know i have decided to now keep Katie and carry on with the build once the Fairmile is finished and on the water.

Hi Derek,
You Never Know but just turned seventy and hard to concentrate. I am going to try and put all my concentration into my Fairmile D which i want to finish for the spring or early summer so i can get something in the water this year.
I would love to see it finished either by myself or another enthusiast because i love to watch older sail boats on the water.

What a pity that you have decided to give up Jon, especially as you seemed to be making such an excellent job of it. I am much too old to take on any more models but good luck with your sale. I would suggest that if there are no takers at a reasonable price just hang on to it - the enthusiasm may return.

I have come to a decision and because i have realised that building Katie is way beyond my expertise i am putting her up for sale and open to offers, if you are interested you can see how far i have got on the build blog i started (Building Katie) a Sarik models Gaff rig Pilot cutter, i have some parts that i have purchased and fitted an electric motor,propshaft and 45mm brass prop. Northamptonshire. Only for sale on here only at the moment.
