Hi Rick
Is this the Dumas kit?

If so this is a splendid looking model and the pics on the above link do show doors with hinges. You can buy model doll house hinge fittings at small sizes and I have fitted on some of my models. My supply was the local model shop, sadly now gone but I'm sure there are suppliers on line.

If you have good eyesight you could fabricate from brass shim and wire and some jewellery round nose pliers. Very fiddley but also rewarding. Hope you find a supply if you build opening doors to show the interior, always worthwhile in my opinion.

Hi Rick,
Have you thought of using some small squares of Nylon Cloth ?
Just glue one edge to the door and the other edge to the frame then paint over and you will hardly see them.

Hi Rick.
The attached photo shown mini hinges for aircraft they come in various sizes but I am not sure what size you want in relation to your build.
These come from ebay or there are some on Amazon.
What I have used in the past is some old fabric from the wife’s sowing box.
Simply cut a section that will glue to both the door and the frame as small as you can make it to be effective then some light varnish over the cloth just to stiffen it up a little.
Works a treat.👍
Regards Bill.

The Lord Nelson Victory Tug I'm working on the instructions can have the door open or closed wondering if anyone has built a model and had a way of opening and closing the door.
If so is there a blog on it or some where to find info.
Thanks
Rick
