HI Paul Glad to hear you have sorted your earlier problems. With the amps you are pulling I'm not surprised your older batteries were struggling. Did you have to change any ESC settings? Be good to see some video but I guess you would need …

Thanks Alan and Dave for your advice - two very different opinions, maybe the answer is to go somewhere in between as I must admit I think that I shall end up being a speed freak or will get very bored.

That ESC is the one that I am going to use with mine. Performance Models don't do a bad price for them, I have a few in my fast electric boats and up until now they have been alright. A program card for them is a good idea as well Alan

After Roger, I reckon it would have been too difficult glassing over the rails. We had to pin them on to keep the shape, after heating the plastic square section so it would bend, then fill the pin holes with cyno, using a torch inside the …

HI Paul The symptoms all point to the ESC. Alan appears to have sorted a similar problem by changing his ESC's. Its possible that the ESC's actually measure the voltage over a period of time and are therefore registering and accumulating ea …

Just a thought, but if you are setting up the ESCs using the musical notes, perhaps you have got the cut off setting too high, they are very hard to set up properly without a program card. Or you could set them up without cut off, just run …
