    You guys all crack me up.... I remember the tiger in the tank as well We also got the Buddy L fire truck on the Texaco promotion another year. My dad drove the company car for a living and he saved on Christmas presents.

    I remember my dad filling the car a Rover 100 in the 60s and complaining that it cost £1 to fill it ,ah the Good old days🤩

    I think the bullet holes were because there was a gangster series being shown on TV ,might have been Elliott Ness?.There was also the little busts and coins of football players.

    They only gave you stick on bullet holes as it is illegal for Forecourt attendants to shoot real holes in your petrol tank making you purchase more petrol. LOL!!

    Yeh! Marky, I remember that, I think the saying from Esso was, 'put a tiger in your tank', and all they gave you was the TAIL!😠

    In Britain it was nothing as Good as that,for every gallon you put in you got a token when you collected enough you got a tigers tail this was from Esso I think ,my dad's tiger's tail hung from the rear View mirror for years ,so many the sun bleached it White.
