Three Bobby's now thats something, as "WE" say they are little "Go'ers".. Sch an easy build, as most Balsa constructions are, and not to involved with specialist glues/adhesives, the old fashioned Balsa Cement and Cellulose Dope plus some tissue paper, and very easy to make-good any mistakes, that is if any are created ( tongue in cheek ).. What started me off/rekindled my interest was an article i was asked to comment on in 1996 i think , concerning the PT 109 by Glyn Guest ( apologies for spelling ) G G. Balsa Construction as was a series GG did on MTB style, I did the PT 109, and the Miami at 1/32 and an enlarged 1/24th scale, converted the drawing of a Gay Class MTB and the Vosper 70 foot'er, plus the Hellcat.. All good boats and easy builds..
Thanks for the chat Happy sailing..

    Hi,

I have built three Bobby's in my time, two from the free plan from about 1972 and the last from a laser cut kit from Holland. Haven't managed to get the last one on the water yet but will so- eventually! They do go well.

Hello, Thank you for the comment's, as said it is a very lively little boat and a lot of fun, would certainly give some of the Club 500's a run for their money.. Very quick and easy build. Happy Sailing, Thank you again.
