   Sorry just going off topic, Roy I for one still have a tennis ball on a length of string in my pondside toolbox.

   Back in the day before digital cameras and we used film. I used to rescue boats by using a film cannister with the screw lid locked on to a 10 foot length of string.
   I would tow this out to the stranded boat and circle it so that string went around the rudder or prop and tow it back in.
   
   I seem to remember it was pre-propotional RC as well. Interesting to know that model boats still get 'stuck' all these years later!
   Electronics has imoroved, reliability has improved, batteries have improved. I wonder what else can cause the problem?😊😊
