    Hi,
Can you guys these boats as a kit??
Looking for something like this, I can remember as a boy watching my uncle build them in Eyemonth in Scotland.
    I now live in Australia

    Thanks

Creepy
This is Creepy,a springer tug that is 5 yrs old now.He pushes #1200lb pumpkins for the pumpkin regatta along with saving many of the PMPBA club members boats from certain sinking or floating away.I never go to any of the club floats without him.He runs a Harbor freight 550 motor running a Target Hobby 320amp ESC,on a 5000mah 2s lipo battery. The plans can be downloaded free off the internet and takes about a week to build for the experienced builder,Great for the new boat builders to do because its an easy build tug.Simple door skins, some balsa,1/2a running gear from Dumas,1.5 brass prop,2x2 rudder from aluminum, cheap 2channel radio,ESC from Target Hobby.

My Club500
This is my first boat, Club500, with the very cold temp of late and our local water frozen I had to wait till this week to have my first go and I am very happy with it, roll on summer 😉

Paula 3
I have had my Paula III for quite a few years and she was beginning to look a bit jaded, so having just completed my Northlight Clyde Puffer and looking for something to do, thought that I might give Paula a makeover. Nearly all the additions I made to her were from spare parts left over from making other boats. A good strip and rub down and a couple of cans of aerosol (colours chosen by my wife when in Halfords) and 2 weeks later - makeover complete.

Realistic looking model. is it built from scratch or a kit? Might you post some more detailed pics of the insides? You could start a build blog and descibe how you constructed the model, plus post some pics. Only 4 pics per post so best to take the pics and then post with comments. More pics and more comments can then be added.
    Thanks for sharing

My Timmy 2
Since one grandson had a boat with his name on, his brother wanted on too! This shrimp boat became Timothy's with a guiding hand from grandpa when at the lake. Tim is four years old.

I guess all grandpa's are the same all over, I have a 36" Tugboat named after my grand daughter "SERENITY" I know how you feel Grand Kid's are the best...

Michael (formerly Carol Moran)
My grandson Michael helped me build this kit last winter. We had fun researching existing tug boats of the era, and upgrading some of the details. After the bath tub test, I changed from direct drive to a 3:1 ratio motor to keep it running at a scale speed.
