CB90
The Model is scratch built from Photos and profiles of the internet it is around 52 inches long and currently runs on two Graupner 700 turbo motors (14.4v) and dual Mtroniks 25A ESC (12v) running twin contra rotating 45mm props, this model can spin on its own axis like the real boat but does not use waterjets due to cost. Completed in 2017.

Whats a CB90

Its a Command Boat 90 originally built by Docstar in sweden and later also built in the USA under licence.
The boat has a multi role capability and has be used by the Army, Police, Coast Guard and Ambalence Service

Originally a Military craft for coastal waters and rivers with a shallow draft and powered by twin water jets this 15 ton Aluminum boat can deliver half a platoon directly on to beach heads via its landing craft type single man door at the bow.

This craft has excellent manoveraility and can crash stop ( go into full reverse and stop) in 1.5 x its length. No-wonder the american's wanted this boat.

Hi Colin, looks like Humbrol / Revell Deck Green to me. As used e.g. on RN WW2 ships in the North Atlantic. Did my HMS Hotspur with this.
    Cheers Doug 😎
Hi Jugge: congratulations your Amsterdam is a super job 👍👍👍
Do not apologise for your English - you do not want to hear my attempts at Swedish! 😲😡

There is an old British war movie 'Appointment with Venus', about the rescue of a prize cow. it features a Fairmile D in some great scenes. if one is building a Fairmile D then the boats in this movie will provide inspiration.

Fishfull Thinking
Greetings from Germany! I've been out of the net for a while and rebuilding this boat with a totally new superstructure, paint job and electronics. I obtained the fiberglass hull measuring 24.5 X 9 inches from a California fellow via E-bay. Formerly a 45-footer Chris Craft at 1:24 scale, this updated vessel was inspired on a 1970s 30-footer Chris Craft Tournament Fisherman and on 1970s 28 and 33-footer Bertram boats. 😁 The Chris Craft in the attached picture from an early days brochure was the very only Chris Craft utilizing a Deep-Vee hull. The story goes that they apparently copied their boat following the lines of a Bertram 28 based on famed boat designer Ray Hunt. Bertram sued in court and Chris Craft ended up building less than 200 boats of this type. After all, the Chris Craft vessel ended up being better than the Bertram in terms of cabin space and overall value. Highly cherished within the American sports fishing community, many of these boats are still up and running.

Lovely Police Launch. Well done you. I am building my first boat - Billings kit ‘Wills Everard’ - doing it slowly and carefully. Thoroughly enjoying though.

Just about finished and soon to feel the water 'neath it's keel

Note the Futaba FG7 transmitter now converted to 2.4 ghz and has performed faultlessly since I acquired it in the 80s

Sorry about the mouthy woman on flog it and the noisy motor...greased it but still makes a lotta noise (the motor...not 'er)
